For the past two months I have been grounded, it has been marvelous. For the past twenty years I have flown nearly every week. I am a million miler on two airlines, close to it on two others. This isn’t bragging just a statement of fact. I would love to board a plane that jetted me off to someplace ‘perfect’ and left me there.

Oh. I won!!! I am so excited. So excited. So very excited. Wow. Will there be an awards ceremony? ‘Cuz I already told my husband I need a new dress and shoes. What? No awards ceremony? No Red Carpet? No acceptance speech? Okay, I’m good with that. The thought of squeezing into the Spanx was sucking all the joy out of that little imaginary escapade…
This was really fun – and has made listening to the news a lot more palatable. Now instead of listening to all the depressing crap being broadcast – I just listen for sound bites that would make a good band name. Thanks for that, Byronnic Man. You make the world a little better, one blog post at a time…
