And so it’s all come to this. There have been vlogs. Photoshopping. Cartoons. Posing with cookies. All in the name of “real holidays”.
Well, that and in the name of winning. Winning what, you wonder, because you’ve somehow forgotten despite our constant reminders? An amazing, wonderful prize – the chance to go to bed with Go Jules Go or The Byronic Man (figuratively speaking)! Yes, your very own sheet set plastered with Go Jules Go or Byronic Man logos and faces leering out at you!
It’s been so cool that people have put together such great, creative projects for our little giveaway here – thanks again to everyone for playing along and reading along. Jules and I agonized over the entries, then fought over them, then apologized and went back to agonizing. Be sure, though, to go to Go Jules Go to see the finalists and winner of the Go Jules Go sheet set. Also, if you haven’t already, you’ll seriously want to check out all the entries here.
First the finalists, and winners of a handsome Byronic Man / WWSSD? wristband:
Catstache, with this card that cracks me up every time I read it:
Peg from Peg-O-Leg’s Ramblings (you’re going to want to click on it to read the text):
And Rache from Rachel’s Table.
All leading to the winner of the Byronic Man sheet set…
Please congratulate Darla from She’s A Maineiac! Yaaaaay!
Darla the sheet will be sent to you just as soon as you make a video in which you act out (or carry out) everything in your card.
Thanks again everyone, and I hope this year’s “real holiday” is better than even traditional greeting cards promise they’ll be.
Pssst! Did you remember to check Go Jules Go?

Excellent choices by you judges. Darla’s card was my favorite too. I hope she doesn’t toss her cookies (or fruit cake) all over that bitchin’ sheet set.
December 21, 2012 at 7:24 am
Oh, me too. The sheets are extremely delicate, and dry-clean only, and tend to burst in to flame if you handle them too roughly.
December 21, 2012 at 3:13 am
Any card that makes you laugh out loud is indeed a winner! Congrats to Darla for her hilarious entry!
December 21, 2012 at 3:31 am
Congrats Darla!
December 21, 2012 at 4:40 am
Whoa! congrats to all the entries. I am so excited! And they said my crappy PowerPoint skills and freakishly Gangnam Style lower half would never amount to anything…
December 21, 2012 at 4:43 am
OOOH you commented right as I was typing, DP! I love you almost as much as I love running ridiculously involved blog giveaways. Congrats!
December 21, 2012 at 5:00 am
heehee…I woke up this morning and saw this and my day was MADE, baby. Now I just have to explain to Jim why I’m sleeping on B’s half-face every night.
December 21, 2012 at 9:48 am
Congrats, Darla!
All the entries were awesome! It must have been a difficult decision for the judges. (Were any bribes of the mustache glasses kind involved? It’ll just be between you and me, Darla.)
December 21, 2012 at 11:29 am
Initially there was a pretty big tie. Then came the teeth-gnashing.
December 21, 2012 at 7:25 am
That would be the weirdest “disapproving elder” speech ever.
December 21, 2012 at 7:30 am
Congrats, Darla! That was my favorite too! I think we should all hold contests and just declare Darla the winner when we announce the contest. Save some time.
December 22, 2012 at 8:38 am
Or just constantly have contests and declare each other winners – kind of like the “awards” thing, but with prizes!
December 21, 2012 at 4:42 am
Yayyyyyyyy!!!! Congrats, DP!!! And thank you again to everyone who entered – this was so amazingly fun, and I’m not just saying that because I’ve been sleeping on B Man’s half face for the last two weeks.
Let’s never fight again, okay, B?
December 21, 2012 at 11:32 am
I’ve heard that sleeping on pictures of my face can cure limps, enhances moods, and fixes astigmatism.
And if fights were like the process of working on this with you, I’d be looking for fights right and left.
December 21, 2012 at 5:27 am
So jealous that Darla is going to be able to lay her face right beside half of B Man’s face!! Argh! Does sucking up to judges mean NOTHING these days?? 😉
Congrats to Darla! She was indeed superior in every way. Now, we will need video of that gangnam dancing ON the sheets. Don’t let us down, D!
December 22, 2012 at 8:38 am
Well, there’s still half of my face up for grabs, so: next time!
December 21, 2012 at 6:07 am
Like I told Jules, y’all are outstanding for hosting this fun giveaway. It was a pleasure to participate in and see the outcome even though I did not win grand prize. Thanks!
December 21, 2012 at 6:47 am
Yay Darla! That one made me laugh the most 🙂 Everyone had such great entries – a very creative bunch you guys have for followers. Thanks for co-hosting this shindig, Byronic! It was a lot of fun 🙂
December 21, 2012 at 7:40 am
I’m so pleased to see my card up there. It makes the fact that I had to add “create card for Jules and The Byronic Man’s epic contest” to my already long list of Christmas things to do worth it. Thanks!
So Jules is sending her finalists bacon ornaments. What are you sending us, BMan?
December 21, 2012 at 7:45 am
Oh a wristband.
December 21, 2012 at 7:49 am
I just noticed that the wristband’s my prize. I’m very excited about the wristband even though the comment above does not fully express it. Now it looks like I didn’t read the post carefully and just cared about seeing my card. And now I keep making awkward comments.
December 21, 2012 at 9:12 am
HA!
December 21, 2012 at 8:27 am
Congrats to the winners!
December 21, 2012 at 8:46 am
Congrats to Darla! After I saw her entry I was going to top it by making a vlog where I actually pranced Gangnam style all around my living room wearing reindeer antlers. But my natural sense of decorum stopped me. Or else it was the fact that there’s not enough spiked eggnog in the world that would make that happen.
What a fun contest! I’m also excited about the wristband. Merry Christmas to all.
December 21, 2012 at 10:13 am
Congrats, Darla! And everyone else too. They were terrific!
December 21, 2012 at 5:47 pm
Congratulations Darla! Now I want to see you make a video of it.
December 21, 2012 at 6:34 pm
They were all great, but I absolutely loved Darla’s. Congrats. 😀
December 21, 2012 at 6:45 pm
Awesome! Loved Darlas entry 🙂 Congrats!!
December 22, 2012 at 8:06 am
Yes! Darla’s card has finally filled me with holiday spirit or that could by the liquid hydrocodone I’m taking for my tonsillectomy
